To celebrate our 10-year anniversary, DMSF, in partnership with charity auction company, Impulse Decisions and online platform, Barn Door UK, is hosting an online Christmas Charity Auction, fundraising for the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation, and we have some fantastic lots to bid on.

Barn Door UK is an award-winning online platform, powered by top law firm JMW Solicitors, designed to connect the firm’s vast network of sportsmen and women with new business and active commercial opportunities to help them prepare for life beyond sport.

After a unique early Christmas gift?

Selected Partners, that we have worked with over the years, have kindly agreed to auction their sports memorabilia at a much-reduced price, offering you the chance to buy affordable iconic items this Christmas, while supporting a very worthy cause.

Coronavirus has hit us hard and has decimated our community youth hubs, where we were able to reach at-risk young people on a daily basis.

Our aim is to raise £2,500 for DMSF through the proceeds of the auction, and every penny raised will go towards helping us re-establish our mentoring and youth work within the community.

Before the pandemic, we worked with 687 young people each week; £2,500 would enable us to provide weekly sport and life readiness courses in one community hub for a whole year, and enable us to hit our target of helping another 31,050 vulnerable young people through community sports.

Young people under the age of 25 are already experiencing greater levels of job and labour market displacement because of the Coronavirus – they are 2.5 times more likely to be working in sectors that have “shut down.” This auction gives you the opportunity to play a part in making the difference and helping to change lives.

So, whether you’re looking to surprise a friend with a unique gift, or find the perfect gift for any sports lover, get ready to make your bids count.
