03 Sep Diane and friends are tee-ing up for a charity golf day
Join Diane and friends, including professional golfers Alison Nicholas, Carly Booth and Sophie Walker, and award winning business woman Julia Regis, on Thursday 26 September 2019, for a Charity Golf Day at Mottram Hall, Cheshire, in aid of DMSF.
The competition for this event will be played on the prestigious 18-hole, Par 72 Championship golf Course. This one of a kind course was the host venue for the 2013 European Senior’s PGA Championship; its tree-lined fairways and subtle rolling greens present a challenge to even the most seasoned golfer.
Play will be an AM/AM format with the best scores to count on each hole. A draw will take place one week prior to the competition to allocate tees to each team. Entry fee includes bacon and sausage rolls on arrival and a two-course meal, prize giving, raffle auction and guest speaker following the competition.
We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker for the evening will be British, European, Commonwealth, World Champion and two time Olympian (not too mention golf enthusiast), Derek Redmond (pictured left). Derek is a long time supporter of DMSF and said:
“I’m delighted to be back supporting Diane and the team at their charity golf day with a twist! These events are such important fundraisers for DMSF as the proceeds directly support the young people in their care. Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference, and DMSF makes a vital difference to thousands of young people in the North West every year. I’m delighted to be able to lend my support.”
£1,000 per team of three with a sports personality, or £800 per team of four. To secure a team or for more information contact Penni on 07968 033779 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Golf Day is part of our programme of events, which raise funds for DMSF. All proceeds will directly support the young people in our care.
