We are passionate about providing positive pathways for young people to be involved in sport and education to achieve their personal goals. Our programmes aim to inspire and motivate them to achieve and maximise their potential, whilst celebrating success and personal achievements along the way.
There is also much that DMSF can do to support the wellbeing of children and young people and supporting their mental health during periods of disruption is key; regular exercise through sport, for example, can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.
For the next few months we’re focusing our support around giving to those in the most critical need and supporting our young people is of the utmost priority.
To this end we have developed a dedicated section on the DSMF website where we aim to provide young people with access to a toolkit of support; this includes a programme of remote training sessions, live streaming initiatives, 1:1 counselling, and an online mentoring service.
Visit our new Young People section on the website for more information and pass on the advice.
