We are lucky to have had some fantastic support from local organisations and our community, and you can read some of our partner case studies below. If you would like to talk to us about how we can work together, click on the contact us button.

This year, DMSF will focus its support around giving to those in the most critical need and supporting our young people is of the utmost priority.

To this end we’re working hard with our partners and the local community to coordinate support for our young people, but we need YOUR HELP to do more. Click below to read how we’re coordinating our efforts with KIND and Whitworths.

Combining innovation and compassion, a project team at Laing O’Rourke, a multinational construction company, has raised an amazing £3,300 for DMSF, exceeding their original target of £3,000.

Members of the Laing O’Rourke team organised a sponsored walk, from Olympics to Olympia, in aid of DMSF – as part of their on-going commitment to raise money for good causes.

The walk, which started just after 7am on 8 December 2020 at the Olympic Park, and finished just after 6.30pm at the Olympia Exhibition Centre, visited past and present Laing O’Rourke development projects in and around London, including the incredible new structure at the London College of Fashion.

Manchester wealth management specialist, Daintree Wealth Management (used to be King Street Wealth Management), chose DMSF as their Charity of the Year for 2019 and donated £50,000 to the Foundation.

Thanks to Matthew and Mark at DWM, DMSF was able to kick start an authentic pathway to supporting young people who want to reach peak performance within sport.

One of the DMSF young people who will benefit from this pathway is DMSF young person, Aimee Pratt, who is training to qualify for the 2021 (rearranged) Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

In February 2020, both Yale Housing and Fairhome each generously donated £4,000 to DMSF.

These donations will make a significant impact in enabling the charity to develop programmes that help build character and develop behaviours in young people that are transferable throughout their lives. This includes the DMSF Youth Hub in Gorton which supports 75 young people every week. Without this valubable funding, the Hub would have to close.
