17 Dec Thanks from Chairman, Jim Battle
Christmas time is a good time to look back over the last year and the New Year is the time when we look forward to the next 12 Months.
2018 has been another outstanding year for all at DMSF – record numbers of young people have engaged with and participated in DMSF activities across schools, youth centres and community sessions.
The Graduation Ceremony in June showcased the massive achievements of our young people, an unforgettable and proud night for everyone involved. We are indebted to our magnificent team of volunteers and coaches who are backed by our dedicated team of Diane, Bex, Keira and Aimee.
We are committed to making the successes of 2019 even bigger and the mission to obtain additional funding for our many sessions is underway. The New Year will see DMSF grow with the creation of further opportunities for our young people, allowing them to develop, flourish and achieve – the very core of our Foundation. We all look forward to meeting the challenges and taking the opportunities that lie ahead.
My thanks and best wishes to everyone at DMSF – from our young people to our partners and supporters. Without you it just wouldn’t happen.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
